The artwork in Iryna’s newest series "Field of Affection“ all focus on own specific animal, and each represents broad and powerful symbolism. With themes ranging from fun and whimsical to serious and poignant, each piece calls on the viewers’ association with the animal to create a deep and intimate connection, as well as explore the unconscious spiritual ties every human has to the animal kingdom. Iryna uses a muted watercolor to portray the animal while the background is created using digital art; it features bold colors and vivid patterns that intuitively resonate with the spirit of the animal, causing the physical characteristics to pop to the forefront.
